Bob the Bike
Five months of research, consultation, bidding, assembly and testing have produced my Anglo-Italian baby.
For the technophiles, all components NOS/NIB or high quality used:
Bob Jackson 22" Grand Prix Steel frame with half-chrome forks, chain & seatstays and Campagnolo dropouts all circa '84
Cinelli Criterium race bars (very thin pearly tape) with Cinelli chrome bar end stops and Cinelli quill stem circa '85-88
Campagnolo Super Record headset probably '80's
Campagnolo Super Record rear mech, front mech, down tube shifters all early '80's
Campagnolo Super Record brake calipers and levers circa '85
Campagnolo Super Record Strada cranks, chainset and hub (all early '80's) with pantographed outer chainring (ex '72 Tour de France)
Vintage 6 speed Regina ORO cassette 12-21 and Regina Oro chain
Campagnolo Gran Sport pedals and toe clips '80-85?
Campagnolo Super Record 36 hole wide flange hubs with Super Record QR skewers early '80's
Mavic M4 vintage 700c wheels with Vittoria classic tyres
Campagnolo Aero water bottle and holder '85
No-name fixie style pearl white saddle (real comfy) and chrome seatpost
Ferrari red Jagwire cable outers.
BASICALLY THE DOGS BOLLOCKS!
The best components money can buy, conceived and assembled in collaboration with a master bike builder and good friend Chris Cow.
